Luís Arnaut
Professor at the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade de Coimbra, where he completed his Ph.D. in 1988.
Over 20 years of experience in lasers and photoacoustics, 200 articles in international scientific journals, 200 citations in his scientific works and leader of 11 international projects (€10M in sales) in the last 10 years.
Co-inventor of 2 patents in the field of photodynamics and 1 patent in the field of transdermal drug delivery. CCreator of a pharmaceutical business (Luzitin).
INVENTA 2011 prize for the best Portuguese patent of the 2001-2010 decade awarded by the Gabinete de Patentes Português (INPI).
Carlos Serpa
Assistant professor at the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade de Coimbra.
Ph.D. in Chemistry at the Universidade de Coimbra.
Over 12 years of experience in pure and applied research, 10 years of experience in Photoacoustics having published over 30 articles in international scientific journals regarding photoinduced interactions between light and matter.
Co-inventor of a patent in the field of transdermal drug delivery.
Experienced in scientific project management and entrepreneurship courses.
Gonçalo Sá
Ph.D. graduate of the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade de Coimbra. Specialist in transdermal delivery methods of drugs, specifically the active delivery of drugs.
Co-inventor of a patent in the field of transdermal drug delivery.
Completed entrepreneurship, management and photonics courses at the Universidade de Coimbra, Universidade Vrije de Bruxelas and the Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
